GEM will be offering programming at the same time so that care partners can attend the support meeting and their loved one will have an appropriate activity to enjoy at the DARE County Center from 11am -2pm . please call Gail at 480-3354 to register.

January 31, 2012 6pm Dinner with a Doc

Dinner with Dr. Petzing 6pm Outer Banks Hospital call 449-4500 to register - the program is free and open to the public. The topic is when hospitalization happens to a person with Memory loss.

February 2, 2012 11am -2pm Program with a Purpose - Dare County Center

G.E.M. is offering activities for seniors that include fun and purpose on Thursday Feb. 2ond. Enjoy bingo, chair exercise with Alex and prepare a gift for folks who are homebound.

If you are a senior and would like to eat lunch at the Dare County Center please call Angie at (475-9270) to register at least (3) three days before the lunch.

If you are a caregiver and would like to attend the Caregiver Support Group (11am) with Ann but must bring your loved one, GEM is offering the above program for your family member.

You must register with Gail by Tuesday 1/31 to be included as space is limited. There is a small fee to cover the cost of materials we will be working with flowering plants. For more information and to register please call Gail Sonnesso at 480.3354.
